Subquill generates accurate, properly timed captions for your sequences — running entirely on your own machine. Your audio and transcripts never leave it.

What it does

Captions your sequence in place Generates a caption track from your timeline audio, ready to style in Premiere's Text panel.
Runs on your machine Transcription happens locally. Nothing is uploaded, so it works on a plane, on location, or under an NDA.
Multilingual Handles a wide range of spoken languages, including right-to-left scripts such as Hebrew and Arabic.
Caption length you control Split captions to a maximum number of words per card, with punctuation on or off.

Availability

Subquill is in active development ahead of its first release for Adobe Premiere Pro on macOS and Windows. It will be sold as a subscription, billed monthly or yearly.
